Bella Hadid and The Weeknd Were Photographed Kissing in Cannes!
The model and the musician, who were supposed to have been "canoodling" (egregious) at the current Coachella celebration, were both going to the Magnum x Alexander Wang party, where they were spotted kissing, and potentially notwithstanding leaving together.
The exes were spotted together for a moment successive time at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival, this time at a screening for Ash Is Purest White on Friday evening. Falcon eye fans got the supermodel and vocalist sitting by each other inside the theater, however a video presented on Bella's Instagram Stories demonstrates she headed out alone to the occasion.
Fans theorized that the woman in question was actually Bella-lookalike Chantel Jeffries, who (like The Weeknd's ex, Selena Gomez) was once romantically linked to Justin Bieber.
This time around, however, there's little doubt that this is a case of mistaken identity. Bella and her 28-year-old ex (né Abel Tesfaye) were seen locking lips at a Cannes after-party on Thursday evening, and the photos do not lie.
Bella and the "Starboy" singer dated on-and-off for 18 months through 2015 and 2016, finally calling it quits that November. Soon after their split, The Weeknd took up with Selena Gomez, whom he dated for 10 months before their relationship met its end in autumn 2017.
Abel kept his lips sealed through both breakups, but ultimately spilled the tea in March with the release of his six-track album, My Dear Melancholy.
In a song called “Wasted Times,” The Weeknd reminisces about an “equestrian” ex (in case you missed it, both Bella and her sister Gigi were avid horse riders in their youth). “Wasted times I spent with someone else. She wasn’t even half of you,” he sings. Harsh.
Anyway, we’re more than ready for the “Abella” reboot—and what more romantic a setting than the South of France?
